March Hair Days and Easter 2012

I really like this picture of the two boys studying their rare artifacts, which were quickly grabbed to keep from entering Eli's mouth.

On the way back home we stopped at the New River Gorge in WV.  Beautiful!!

A trip to White Sulfur Springs WV to see Papa George's Homeplace.  He wasn't born in the barn, but in a house on the farm nearby.  The barn, although newly painted, is the only original building still standing.

 January 21, 2012 - One Year Old!  These pictures are not in order  The first two are after a change from eating a birthday cupcake.  Eli got to celebrate his first birthday with the big 6 (parents and grandparents) plus most of his first cousins and aunts and uncles!  We missed cousin Nate and his family, but will be wishing him a happy birthday this coming Thursday:)

December 2011

Eli's first visit with Santa. 

Nothing beats a quick hike to the river on a 60 degree day in December.  Eli wore his happy face and practiced his patty cake.

Christmas Eve at Grammy's and Papaw Gary's.

I can't believe how big he has gotten.  I love this picture of him hugging his little bear lovey as he naps.  He still crosses his feet most of the time when sleeping, just like in the first ultra sound picture that we got at about 9 weeks.  So many happy days.  It is certainly a time to be thankful for our many blessings.
