My cousin Jessica came down from Northern Virginia today to host a shower for baby Scott. We've been friends since we were crawling around in diapers ourselves. Below is the beautiful and absolutely delicious cake that her mom sent from Our Daily Bread.
Jess actually gave me a ton of maternity clothes back when I was 8 weeks pregnant, including this black dress.
Grandma Rita giving some tummy love.
I love this picture of Rachael's baby Ellie crawling over to help with presents.
Baby blankets were a big theme at the shower. Aunt Anza crocheted this adorable one with little teddy bears.
Here is a jungle blanket from cousin Cheryll.
Lucille Sheppard made the John Deere Quilt.
There were several other beautiful blankets and adorable gifts, but I didn't get pictures of them all. We had our first snow shower of the year and we decided it was best to cut the shower short so everyone could get home safely. It will be fun getting to have daddy help unwrap the remaining gifts.

I was SO sorry I had to cut and run early. What a day to have the first snowfall. :shakes head:
It was SO wonderful seeing you. You look amazing! I'm glad you were able to update a bit--I've missed you. :o)
I can't wait to hear of baby Scott's arrival. Hang in there.
Big fat Hugs to you!
